I am a maker of things, and one of those things is food. In the season, here in the North land, I plant my vegetables - stretching the season as long as possible. This year I planted turnips in August for late season harvest and was able to enjoy the turnips and greens into the late fall. In early November I harvested the last of the crop, carefully cleaned them and put them into baggies in the refrigerator for my winter salads. They are not the last of the veggies, Daiko
